Kate Wegener

Kate Wegener is an experienced project manager currently overseeing strategic initiatives at the American Planning Association since January 2023. Prior to this role, Wegener served as Partner Operations Director at Emeritus from September 2021 to January 2023, and as Program Manager for Executive Education at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from March 2020 to July 2021. Wegener's background includes a tenure at Harvard University Graduate School of Education where multiple roles, including Program Manager and Program Coordinator, were held from June 2016 to March 2020. Wegener began a career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as Assistant Manager from July 2014 to May 2016. Academically, Wegener earned a Master of Liberal Arts in Management and a Graduate Certificate in Business/Corporate Communications from Harvard Extension School, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Stonehill College. In addition, Wegener participated in The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars in 2013.
