Jeannette Christensen (Assistant Costume Designer) Is a Helen Hayes nominated costume designer, illustrator, and fashion stylist based in Baltimore, MD. Having started her career in the District of Columbia, Christensen has designed costumes for The Kennedy Center, Gala Hispanic Theatre, Adventure Theater MTC, Theater Alliance, 4615 Theater, Olney Theater Center, Pointless Theater, Imagination Stage, Monumental Theater, Dance Exchange, and Mosaic Theater. She started at APT in 2021, and has assisted with costume designs for Cymbeline, A Phoenix to Frequent, Oedipus, Taming of the Shrew, The River Bride, The Brothers Size, and Love's Labour's Lost. She has also assisted with costume designs throughout the DC theater scene including Roundhouse Theatre, Folger Theatre, Wolf Trap Opera, and Studio Theater. She has worked as a costume designer/mentor with Arizona State University, University of Maryland, Bowie State University, American University, and George Washington University. She recently launched her own clothing brand, called Ronni-X. Education: BA in Design & Production from Arizona State University, MFA in Design from the University of Maryland.
