Katie Rader is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Christopher Newport University and serves as an APSA Congressional Fellow with the American Political Science Association. Prior experience includes roles as Program Associate and Program Coordinator at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, where support was provided to the Assessment of Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options program and the Methodology Committee. Previous positions at Independent Sector involved responsibilities in nonprofit strategy and advocacy, and an internship in government relations and policy was completed at the YMCA. Katie Rader earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and Government from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Government and Philosophy from the University of Puget Sound.
