Sethunya Tshepho Mosime (She/her/hers)

Sethunya Tshepho Mosime is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Botswana and has been affiliated with the institution since 1999. Mosime serves as the Board Chairperson of Botswana Women's Leadership Letsema, advocating for women's political participation through resource provision and public education. Additionally, Mosime held the position of Chairperson of the Board for the University of Botswana Academic and Senior Support Staff Union from 2014 to 2023. Experience also includes being an editor for the Botswana Review on Ethics, Law and HIV and AIDS and serving as a local consultant for the National Democratic Institute, focusing on bolstering women's representation in politics. Mosime's educational background includes a PhD in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an MA from the University of Sussex.
