Andrew Thurston

Andrew Thurston, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Distributed Generation at American Power Resources since September 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew was the VP of Finance and M&A at Norbut Solar Farms from November 2022 to September 2023. Andrew’s experience in the energy sector includes positions such as Director of Asset Acquisitions at Distributed Solar Development, LLC, and various roles in M&A at NextEra Energy Resources, including Project Director, Project Manager, Associate Project Manager, and Business Management Analyst. Earlier in Andrew's career, experience included Small Business Consultant at Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs and Equity Research Analyst at Strategic Financial Services, Inc. Additionally, Andrew began a career in finance as a Financial Analyst at The Ayco Company. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Siena College.
