Christy Hooley

Christy Hooley has extensive experience in elementary education, currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher at American Preparatory Academy since August 2018. Previously, Christy taught as a Geography Teacher and Core Teacher at Liberty Rock School for a combined class of 3rd-5th graders and K-9th grade from August 2016 to May 2017. Christy co-owned and taught at Glenn J. Kimber Academy - Sweetwater from August 2014 to June 2016 and held positions as a 5th and 6th Grade Teacher at Sweetwater County School District 2 from September 2010 to May 2013, as well as a 1st Grade Teacher at Alpine School District from August 2009 to May 2010. Christy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Utah Valley University and an Associate of Science in Music and Teacher Education from Western Wyoming Community College.
