William (Maurice) Brown, MPA-HRM, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive background in human resources management. William (Maurice) currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at the American Printing House for the Blind. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at Kentucky Venues.

William also has experience in the public sector, having worked as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Cincinnati and as the Executive Administrator/Chief People Officer for Louisville Parks and Recreation. William (Maurice) was responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment and retention, performance management, employee engagement, and compensation administration.

Prior to their roles in the public sector, William worked as a Senior Manager at the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts, where they provided executive-level leadership and management for all HR functions. Additionally, they served as an Administrative Branch Manager for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Alcoholic Beverage Control, where they fulfilled a broad range of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, training, benefits administration, and personnel policy enforcement.

Throughout their career, William has demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, budget analysis, organizational development, and compliance functions. Their experience spans both the private and public sectors, highlighting their versatility and adaptability in HR management.

William (Maurice) Brown, MPA-HRM, SHRM-SCP, completed their education at Kentucky State University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. In 2015, they obtained additional certifications, including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM and the International Public Management Association Senior Certified Professional from IPMA-HR.
