Steven J. Wilson

Steven J. Wilson is an experienced professional in vocational counseling and rehabilitation, currently serving as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Blind and Visually Impaired at the Arizona Department of Economic Security since January 2022. With a background that includes roles as a Peer Support Specialist at the American Printing House for the Blind and a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at Beacon Group, Steven has specialized in providing guidance and support to individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Steven contributed as a Council Member for the Governors Council for the DeafBlind Issues Committee and completed a Clinical Internship at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. Steven holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arizona, supplemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and an Associate’s Degree focusing on Psychology, Sociology, and Humanities.
