Joy Brodt has an extensive work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Publicity Intern at Kyle Avery Public Relation. Joy then worked as an Office Intern at Jennifer Lopez Enterprises/Nuyorican in 2007, where they performed administrative duties and wrote script coverage. From 2009 to 2013, they held various positions at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, including Assistant Travel Coordinator, Assistant to Executive Producer, Writer's Assistant, and Office Production Assistant. At Savills in 2013, Joy worked as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President, providing organizational and administrative support. Joy then joined 21st Century Fox as an Assistant to the Executive Producer in 2013 and later transitioned to Treasures | Loved | Valued | Purposed in 2015 as the Chief Operations Officer. In this role, they led day-to-day operations, recruited and retained volunteers, organized events worldwide, and collaborated with stakeholders to double the program and operational budget. Most recently, Joy started working at International Justice Mission in 2022 as the Director of Partner Engagement.
Joy Brodt attended Azusa Pacific University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Broadcast Arts with a focus on Broadcast Journalism. In 2006, they participated in a Semester Study Abroad Program at the University of Newcastle, specializing in Broadcast Journalism. Furthermore, Joy Brodt completed the UCLA Writers Program as part of the UCLA Extension Program, focusing on Creative Writing.
