Mona Dooley

Vice President, Federal Government Relations at American Property Casualty Insurance Association

Mona Dooley has a diverse range of work experience, with their most recent role being Vice President of Federal Government Relations at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant Vice President of Federal Government Relations at the same organization since June 2017.

Before joining the American Property Casualty Insurance Association, Mona worked as a Senior Legislative Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2015 to June 2017. Mona also had experience in policy and government relations at the National Association of Manufacturers from October 2013 to January 2015.

Earlier in their career, Mona served as a Legislative Assistant and Financial Services Policy Advisor at the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2011 to January 2013. Mona also spent time working on campaign finance staff at Dold for Congress from May 2010 to December 2010.

Mona's work experience also includes an internship in government affairs at the Council on Competitiveness in 2009. Mona gained experience in international relations as the Director of the U.S.- China Student Friendship Program from June 2004 to July 2006.

Mona Dooley attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2006 to 2010, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Economics and Political Science. In 2009, they also briefly studied Economics at the Universidad de Belgrano.
