Michael Savelli has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at the American Psychiatric Association, where they lead strategic engagement processes and collaborates across the organization to improve outcomes.

At Intersect Software, they served as Vice President of Products/Engineering and Director of Software Development, leading product development, reducing operational and product costs, and increasing product capabilities. At CareerBuilder.com, they worked as a Technical Lead, and at Intech Inc., they worked as a Software Engineer/Architect, contributing to the successful development and launch of cutting-edge technology tools.

Throughout their career, Michael has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, a focus on innovation, and a track record of delivering positive results.

Michael Savelli obtained their MBA in Executive MBA from George Mason University - School of Business, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a BA in Mathematics from PennWest Edinboro, completing their studies from 1986 to 1988. In addition to their academic degrees, Michael has also earned several certifications. In November 2019, they obtained a certification in Nonprofit Financial Stewardship from the Harvard Kennedy School. More recently, in December 2021, they completed certifications in Bystander Training: From Bystander to Upstander, Preventing Harassment in the Workplace, and What To Do When You Are Bullied at Work, all obtained from LinkedIn.
