Raman Marwaha

President, Caucus Of International Medical Graduate Psychiatrists at American Psychiatric Association

Raman Marwaha has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Since 2015, they have worked at Case Western Reserve University, initially as an Assistant Professor and then as an Associate Professor. At The MetroHealth System, they held multiple positions including Vice Chair for Education and Faculty Development, Program Director, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Interim Psychiatry Residency Program Director, and Associate Psychiatry Residency Program Director. Additionally, Marwaha served as the President of the NorthEast Ohio Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In 2019, they became the Assembly Deputy Representative of the IMG Caucus, APA at the American Psychiatric Association, and in 2022, they assumed the role of President of the Caucus of International Medical Graduate Psychiatrists at the American Psychiatric Association.

Raman Marwaha completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Psychiatry Residency Program at Case Western Reserve University from 2010 to 2013. Raman obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine from Delhi University and University College of Medical Sciences, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Raman completed their high school education at Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj from 1998 to 2000 and attended Apeejay School, Sheikh Sarai for elementary/middle school.
