Elise Frasier

Director Of Editorial Development at American Psychological Association

Elise Frasier has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Elise began their career as a Senior Development Editor at CQ Press in 2002 and held this position until 2008. Elise then transitioned to the role of Acquisitions Editor, specializing in International Relations and Comparative Politics, at the same company from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, Elise founded their own company called Octopus Editorial, where they served as Principal. At Octopus Editorial, they offered a wide range of development editing and consulting services for higher education and scholarly publishers. In 2019, Elise joined the American Psychological Association as the Director of Editorial Development.

Elise Frasier completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Reed College in 1992. Elise then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan between 1995 and 2001.
