Gregory Sarlo

Executive Board And President Division 44 at American Psychological Association

Gregory Sarlo is the Chief of Psychology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and serves as Co-chair of the Ethics Committee at the same institution since May 2018. Sarlo has been involved with the American Psychological Association as an Executive Board member and President of Division 44 since June 2011, and previously held the position of Past President. Additionally, Sarlo is the Clinical Director and Founder of Psychological Consultations, established in June 1987. As President of the Des Plaines Library Board, Sarlo has been re-elected multiple times since 2013. Sarlo also holds the position of Clinical Director and Board President of the Illinois Psychological Association Psychology Internship Consortium since June 2009 and has contributed as Elected Treasurer and Legislative Committee Co-Chair for the Illinois Psychological Association. Academic contributions include serving as faculty at Midwestern University and as Core Faculty at Adler School of Professional Psychology. Gregory Sarlo earned a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University between 1996 and 1999.
