Daniel Nass

Daniel Nass serves as a Senior Producer at American Public Media Group, specializing in productions such as Pipedreams, Composers Datebook, and SymphonyCast since February 2018. With a diverse background that includes roles as Producer and Associate Producer for various national specials, Nass has also established a personal music business focused on composition, arranging, and self-publishing since 1997. Previous experience includes positions in digital production and freelance writing for Minnesota Public Radio and an internship with Performance Today. Academically, Nass holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Composition from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Music in Music Composition from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from St. Olaf College.
