Patrick Hart currently holds the position of Senior Director for Resilience Programs at the American Public Power Association since August 2023. Hart's extensive career includes serving as the Director of Energy Risk Operations at the Analysis and Resilience Center for Systemic Risk from October 2020 to January 2023, and as Director of National Security Policy at the Edison Electric Institute from June 2017 to October 2020. Prior to these roles, Hart was a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy, offering strategic guidance on emergency preparedness and disaster response from November 2014 to January 2017. Hart's experience also includes acting as the Assistant Secretary for the Private Sector at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, as well as senior roles at FEMA, where responsibilities included managing federal disaster response operations.
