Cmp Fellow Marcus R. Eng Des

Marcus R. Eng, CMP Fellow, DES has a strong background in the field of meeting operations and technology. Marcus began their career in 1998 as the Director of Meetings and Events at The American Institute of Architects. In 2002, they transitioned to Experient as a Strategic Account Manager, where they served for nearly a decade. Since 2012, Marcus has been with the American Public Transportation Association, holding the role of Director of Meeting Operations & Technology.

Marcus R. Eng, CMP Fellow, DES, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management and Political Science from Hamline University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Throughout their career, Eng also acquired several certifications, including the following: Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 2001 from the Events Industry Council, Fundamentals in Infectious Disease Cleaning Disinfection and Risk Management in October 2021 from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, and Digital Event Strategist (DES) in July 2022 from PCMA. Marcus also holds the prestigious designation of Certified Meeting Professional Fellow (CMP Fellow), obtained from the Events Industry Council in April 2022.
