Michael Cusortelli

Michael Cusortelli has extensive experience in the equine racing industry, currently serving as a contributor to the American Quarter Horse Association's racing website since May 2015. In addition, Michael holds roles as a Racing Publicity Writer and Paddock TV Host at Downs At Albuquerque Inc since June 2013, and as a Racing Correspondent for Speedhorse Inc since September 2010. Over the years, Michael has also worked as a Blogger for Stallionesearch.com and as Publications and Website Coordinator for the New Mexico Horse Breeders' Association, both since 2009. Previous experience includes a tenure as a Freelance Writer for the New Mexico Business Weekly and a long-standing position as Field Editor and Online News Editor for the AQHA Racing Journal from 1996 to 2009. Michael holds degrees in English Literature from California State University - East Bay and the University of Arizona.
