Richard Fateman is a volunteer for American Red Cross Bay Area, serving as a Sheltering Coordinator and Government Operations Lead. Richard is also a self-employed occasional consultant and an Emeritus Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Richard is the founder of Franz Inc. Fateman holds a PhD in Applied Math from Harvard University and a BS in Physics and Mathematics from Union College.
