Andrew D. Brown

Andrew D. Brown currently serves as the Grants & Collaborative Projects Manager at the American Red Cross, a position held since May 2022, focusing on enhancing food security and housing access in response to climate emergencies. Prior to this role, Andrew spent over a decade at the Eugene and Agnes E. Meyer Foundation, where roles progressed from Grants Administrator to Grants Manager, contributing to initiatives aimed at promoting racial equity in the Greater Washington community. Earlier experience includes managing a team at EAT Restaurant Partners as a Restaurant Shift Manager, where exceptional customer service was a priority. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness with a minor in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed in 2010.
