Mariam Alex is a highly accomplished individual with extensive experience in emergency medical services and leadership roles within academic and health organizations. Currently serving as the President of the American Red Cross Brooklyn College chapter and as an EMT Lab Instructor at Rockland EMS Training Academy, Mariam also works as an Emergency Medical Technician with New City Ambulance Corps/Rescue Squad. Previous positions include Research Associate at the Neurobiology and Learning Lab and USG Senator at Brooklyn College, as well as Vice President of the American Medical Student Association's Brooklyn College chapter and Peer Educator with Peer Health Exchange. Mariam holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, all obtained from Brooklyn College and Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York.
