Susan Kalish

Susan Kalish is a marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Marketing and Communications Consultant for the American Red Cross since June 2023, Susan develops marketing materials and engages diverse communities to enhance awareness and participation. Prior roles include Director of Marketing and Communications at the Fairfax County Park Authority, where Susan established a new department, and Director of Public Relations for the Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation, overseeing several communication initiatives. Additional experience includes directing corporate marketing for the International Association of Fire Chiefs and leading national communication efforts for the National Recreation and Park Association. Susan is pursuing further education at the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington.
