Emma Fields is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in higher education and the corporate sector. Currently serving as a Communications and Marketing Consultant at the National Trust since April 2023, Emma previously held key positions including Head of Brand Strategy & Corporate Communications at the University of Portsmouth, where responsibilities included an organization-wide rebrand and change management in communications. Emma also served as Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at the University of Chichester, overseeing marketing campaigns and leading student recruitment efforts. A strong educational background includes a PhD in English from the University of Southampton, an MBA in Strategic Leadership from the University of Portsmouth, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Direct and Digital Marketing. Additionally, Emma completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program in 2020.
