Steve Mau Mba, Ecp-Sm

Steve Mau, MBA, ECP-SM, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Steve currently serves as the President of the American Rental Association since March 2022. Previously, they were the Owner/President of Brainerd General Rental, where they operated an equipment rental and sales business, and also owned a mini-storage facility since April 2002. From September 2011 to September 2012, Steve served as the Chairman of the Board at Brainerd Lakes Chamber. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Sales at Dean Foods from April 1998 to April 2002. Steve started their career at Kemps LLC in June 1989 and held multiple sales positions, including Regional Sales Manager. During their time at Kemps, they also worked internationally in the Netherlands and Great Britain from 1991 to 1994.

Steve Mau, MBA, ECP-SM, completed their education with a focus on business and organizational management. Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Gustavus Adolphus College, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, specializing in business. Steve attended this institution from 1994 to 1996.
