Laverne Davis

LaVerne Davis, MSA, is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) since April 2023, LaVerne oversees financial operations for three entities and provides strategic financial advice. Previously, LaVerne was Vice President of Finance & Administration at the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) from November 2016 to August 2023, where a strong focus on cost savings initiatives led to a 30% increase in revenue and improved profitability through global opportunity evaluations. Earlier experience includes the role of Chief Financial Officer at Amazon Outreach from April 2013 to November 2016, overseeing financial operations both in the USA and Brazil, managing month-end closes, and providing timely financial reporting to the Board of Directors. LaVerne holds a Master's degree from the University of North Texas.
