Brian Hazelwood

Brian Hazelwood is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in water quality and conservation initiatives. Currently serving as a Conservation Associate at American Rivers since August 2014, Brian focuses on clean rivers advocacy and innovative municipal infrastructure solutions within Pennsylvania's Susquehanna and Delaware river basins, while also supporting efforts in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Prior to this role, Brian operated as an independent consultant and held positions at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as an Environmental Engineer, as well as in various project management and engineering roles at organizations including Tetra Tech and Eastern Research Group. Brian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Virginia.
