Community Engagement Coordinator at American School Foundation of Monterrey

Gabriela Sanchez has extensive experience in community engagement and educational program development, currently serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator at the American School Foundation of Monterrey since August 2015, where a redesign of the high school community service program was implemented. Previously, Gabriela held the position of Character Education High School Teacher, focusing on enhancing the curriculum's rigor and relevance. Prior to this, Gabriela served as the Community Development Director for the Municipality of San Pedro Garza Garcia, where strategic social programs aimed at empowering at-risk youth and women were developed. Gabriela began a career in sales and design management at Industrias Ofisa SA de CV from 2005 to 2013. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Architecture from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from Buffalo State University, and current enrollment in a College Counseling Certificate program at UCLA Extension.
