Wayne Simon

Wayne Simon is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations and leadership roles, particularly within the Mondi Group from July 1991 to December 2023, where positions included Operations Director at both Richards Bay and Merebank, as well as various technical and managerial roles across engineering and operations. Currently serving as an Embajador SocioCultural at American School Way since January 2024, Wayne is also involved in teaching English as a second language. Educational qualifications include an Advanced High Performance Leadership degree from IMD, a High Performance Leadership degree from IMD, a Senior Leadership Development Programme completion from GIBS Business School, a Bachelor of Technology in Business Administration from Durban University of Technology, a Government Certificate of Competency in Mechanical Engineering, and a National Diploma in Engineering Mechanical from Durban University of Technology.
