Rasmus Soerensen

Rasmus Soerensen joined American Seafoods in 2004 and is responsible for production planning, worldwide disposition of products, and market and customer strategy development. He has served as a board member for the Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers and the National Fisheries Institute. Rasmus also serves on the International Marketing and the Whitefish committees with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI). He was elected chair of the Whitefish committee in 2015.

Rasmus started his career in the food industry in 1993 with the Danish frozen food trading company NOWACO A/S. With a new degree in logistics, he joined the NOWACO A/S seafood team in 1996 and was promoted to the seafood trading division in 1997. Rasmus has a business degree from the Business College in Aalborg, Denmark.
