Matt Thorstad

Matt Thorstad is a seasoned security professional with over a decade of experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Security Officer at American Security & Investigations since August 2011, Matt specializes in providing security for clients in the Twin Cities market. Prior experience includes working as a Tactical Security Officer at a tier 1 critical infrastructure facility, wherein responsibilities involved monitoring access control and coordinating officer dispatch through radio communication and security cameras. Additional experience includes serving as a Package Handler at UPS, focused on the safe handling and transportation of packages, and working as a Human Resources Specialist in the Minnesota Army National Guard. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Game Design and Development from Brown College and a Certificate in User Experience and User Interface Design from the University of Minnesota Boot Camps.
