Donny McKay

Donny McKay has had a diverse range of work experience. Donny started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University, where they taught courses on Professional Leadership Development. Donny then joined Union Pacific Railroad as a Manager of Operations, overseeing intermodal train operations and coordinating shipments. Donny later transitioned to Loomis, where they served as a Project Manager and Product Director for their smart safe technology. At Brinks Inc., they held roles as a Product Manager and Director of Product Management, focusing on enhancing their CompuSafe product line. Currently, Donny is working at AMERICAN SECURITY, initially as the Director of Business Development and then moving up to various Vice President roles, ultimately becoming the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Their responsibilities at AMERICAN SECURITY included leading the development, sales, and profitability of the Smart Safes product line, as well as securing a patent for new technology. Overall, Donny McKay has demonstrated expertise in product management, sales, marketing, and leadership throughout their career.

Donny McKay completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership Education from Texas A&M University, starting in 1999 and finishing in 2003. Donny then pursued a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Education at Texas A&M University from 2003 to 2004. Finally, Donny obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2016 and 2018.
