Mathew Avram

Mathew Avram is an experienced medical professional specializing in dermatology and cosmetic procedures. Currently serving as the Immediate Past-President and previously as President-Elect of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery since October 2019, Mathew also holds the position of Director at the MGH Dermatology Laser & Cosmetic Center within Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School's Wellman Center for Photomedicine since 2005. Furthermore, Mathew has been an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School since January 2014. Mathew's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University, a Doctor of Law from Cornell Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University, complemented by a dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School from 2001 to 2004.
