Basma Laaribi

Basma Laaribi is a dedicated professional currently serving as the CA/NV Region Rally Vice President for the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, where responsibilities include overseeing annual events and collaborating with the president to engage professionals and students. In addition, Laaribi holds various leadership roles within the Society of Biological Engineers, including President and Co-President, focused on creating networking opportunities for students. Experience as a Leasing and Marketing Associate at Asset Living involves managing leasing and resident relations, while participation in the Cal Aggie Alumni Association as an Executive Board Member facilitates connections between students and alumni. Other roles include Vice President of the Muslim Student Association at UC Davis, research assistance in food preservation under Dr. Irwin Donis-Gonzalez, and previous internships in community service and education. Basma is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering at the University of California, Davis, expected to graduate in June 2025.
