Chrissy Plemmons

Chrissy Plemmons is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within reputable organizations. Currently serving as the Finance Division Director for Accounting Operations at the American Society of Clinical Oncology since November 2018, Chrissy manages a team of fifteen, achieving significant improvements in the month-end close process and financial statement consistency. Previously, at National Geographic, Chrissy held multiple positions, culminating in the role of Senior Director of Finance and Planning, where contributions included the creation of a comprehensive financial reporting package and leadership of a finance team that supported strategic initiatives. Early career experience includes roles at Tate & Tryon, CPAs & Consultants, specializing in audits and tax preparation. Chrissy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech.
