Heather Mediate

Heather Mediate currently serves as Senior Director of Global Marketing, Communications, & Program Strategy at the American Society of Clinical Oncology, a position held since September 2024. Previously, Heather held various roles at UPMC, culminating as Senior Director of Marketing Communications, where responsibilities included collaborating with clinical leaders to implement data-driven marketing strategies aimed at enhancing consumer engagement and clinical outcomes. Additional experience includes roles such as Program Director at the Girls Coalition of Southwestern Pennsylvania and involvement with the Sprout Fund and the Union Project. Heather Mediate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Communications and a Master's Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Pittsburgh.
