Sarah L.

Sarah L. serves as the Associate Director for State Advocacy at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), where responsibilities include developing advocacy strategies, analyzing state legislation, and fostering relationships with various health organizations. With prior experience as a State Advocacy Specialist at the National Academy for State Health Policy and as a Legislative Associate at Stateside Associates, Sarah has a strong background in monitoring health policy, particularly drug pricing and Medicaid policy. Past roles also include positions with the Texas Democratic Party and as a copy editor for The Daily Texan. Sarah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin and has completed the Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.
