Amy Erickson has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Amy started their career in 2000 as a Production Assistant at CNN's Medical News department, where they produced on-air consumer health pieces and conducted interviews with prominent individuals in the healthcare industry. Following their tenure at CNN, Amy worked as a Managing Editor for Pharmacy Today magazine at the American Pharmacists Association before joining TGen as a Communications and Public Affairs specialist. In 2008, they became an Independent Communications Consultant, taking on clients in the health, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors. Amy later joined the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) as a Communications Program Manager, where they developed content strategies and managed multi-channel member communications. Amy then moved up to the role of Senior Communications Manager and finally Associate Director, Digital Engagement, Multimedia, responsible for developing and managing the execution of integrated marketing and communication plans. Overall, Amy has extensive experience in communications, content strategy, and multimedia production.
Amy Erickson has a BA and BS in Journalism and Biology from Gonzaga University. Amy also holds an MA degree in Journalism from New York University.
