Ryan Owens

Ryan Owens has extensive work experience in the field of pharmacy. Ryan started their career in 2014 as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, where they completed their residency and then continued as a PGY2 Internal Medicine Pharmacy Resident. In 2016, they became an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. In 2017, they joined Wingate University as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and later served as the Director of Interprofessional Education. In 2022, Ryan Owens joined ASHP as the Editorial Director, Special Publishing.

Ryan Owens attended Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. In December 2015, they obtained the certification of Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
