Annette Ben-Tzvi

Annette Ben-Tzvi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academic advising and program management. Currently serving as the Manager of Trainee Programs and Services at the American Society of Hematology since March 2023, Annette previously held various roles at Virginia Tech from August 2015 to September 2022, including Undergraduate Academic & Career Advisor and Graduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, Annette was a Program Manager at Georgetown University's School of Nursing and Health Studies from January 2012 to August 2015 and taught math to junior high students at the Lab School of Washington from August 2008 to May 2011. Early career experiences include positions as Programs Specialist and Admissions Officer at the University of Toronto, as well as administrative roles in physiotherapy clinics and as an Executive Assistant at HealthGene Corporation. Annette holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Anthropology and a Bachelor of Education in Biology and Mathematics, both from the University of Toronto.
