Jessica Hampton is a dedicated medical professional with extensive experience in research and education within the field of medicine. Currently serving as a Medical Student Research Fellow at the American Society of Hematology since June 2020, Jessica has been funded by both the Stanford MedScholars program and the ASH Medical Student Physician Scientist Award, working under the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Porteus. Academic contributions include roles as Head Teaching Assistant and Teaching Assistant in Clinical Anatomy at Stanford University School of Medicine, as well as a Research Technician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Jessica's earlier experiences encompass a variety of roles, including clinical research on surgical outcomes at Johns Hopkins Medicine and leadership in service and mentoring programs during undergraduate studies at Dickinson College, where Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology.
