Jennifer C. has a diverse work experience in the field of event management and communications. Jennifer has held various positions and roles in different companies throughout their career. Jennifer started in 2001 as a Meeting Planner at Wyeth, where they facilitated and executed clinical meetings. Jennifer then moved to Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where they served as a Communications Consultant, Specialist in Medical and R&D Communications, and Manager of Medical Communications. In these roles, they developed strategic activities, supported executive leadership communication efforts, and established policies and procedures for global events. In 2012, Jennifer joined Project Management Institute as the Manager of Live Learning, responsible for the development and execution of the organization's live global event program. After that, they worked at IM Creative as an Executive Producer, overseeing the production of events and developing processes for event project management. Most recently, they have been working at The Risk Management Association as the Director of Events, optimizing event strategy and overseeing the delivery of the organization's webcast program. In the future, Jennifer will be joining the American Society of Plant Biologists as the Vice President of Membership & Meetings.

Jennifer obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State University. Jennifer also holds another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the same institution. Jennifer further advanced their education by completing an MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Eastern University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "Women's Executive Leadership: Business Strategies for Success - Live Virtual" from Wharton Executive Education, which was achieved in March 2021.
