Mel Cowen Cpe

Mel Cowen has extensive work experience in the field of project and construction management. They currently serve as the Director of Preconstruction Services at Featherstone, Inc. Project + Construction Management since March 2020. Prior to this, Mel held various leadership roles at the American Society of Professional Estimators, including National President from July 2019 and National 2nd Vice President from July 2016 to July 2019.

Mel also has a background in education, working as an Instructor of Estimating Principles at HalfMoon Education Inc. since January 2016. They have also served as an Estimating Manager at Structural Group from May 2019 to February 2020 and as a Senior Estimator at Leopardo Companies from June 2016 to August 2017.

Before their current roles, Mel held the position of Vice President at Custom Contracting, LTD from 2006 to 2016 and Chief Estimator at J. J. Henderson and Son from 2004 to 2006.
