Annual Meeting Chair, ASRA Fall 2022 at American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine

Amy Pearson, MD, FASA, is a physician at Advocate Aurora Health since March 2022, with extensive experience in anesthesiology and pain medicine. In addition to their role at Advocate Aurora Health, Amy serves as the Annual Meeting Chair for the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, where Amy has been active since September 2019, and manages social media for the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation since July 2018. Amy is a committee member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists® and has held various leadership positions, including past president of Women in Anesthesiology, Inc. Previously, Amy was an Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa Health Care, where responsibilities included directing the Pain Medicine Resident Rotation and co-chairing the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Team. Amy completed fellowship training in pain medicine at Mayo Clinic and holds an MD from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, along with a BA in Registered Nursing from St. Olaf College.
