Matthew Messer

Matthew Messer has a diverse range of work experience in the solar energy industry. Matthew is the CEO and Founder of American Solar Repair since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the National Operations Manager at SunSystem Technology from 2019 to 2020, where they were responsible for strategic initiatives and managing operations across multiple locations. Matthew also served as the Northeast Field Manager, Energy O&M at Tesla from 2018 to 2019, overseeing employees and implementing consistent standards. Before that, they were a Senior Project Manager at Hnu Energy, LLC from 2017 to 2018, leading solar and storage installations and negotiating contracts. Matthew also held the role of Operations Manager at Sunrise Solar Solutions, LLC from 2013 to 2016, where they managed various departments and helped the company grow. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Sustainability Account Manager at Save That Stuff from 2012 to 2013, using data analytics to optimize recycling and sustainability efforts. Matthew also gained experience through internships at UBS, Shawmut Design and Construction, General Compression, and EnviroSpec Consultancy, where they contributed to various sustainability and renewable energy projects.

Matthew Messer's education history begins in 2008 when they attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Matthew completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Operations Management & Technology in 2012. In 2011, they also studied at The University of Auckland, where they pursued a course on The Science and Engineering of Sustainability.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew Messer has obtained several certifications. In May 2018, they obtained the OSHA 30 certification from OSHA. The same month, they also obtained the NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
