Amy Stern

Amy Stern is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as the Senior Director of the Vaccine Initiative at the American Thoracic Society since January 2022. Previously, Amy held the position of Managing Director of Program Operations at Seed Global Health from September 2019 to December 2021, and served as the Senior Director for Health Systems at The University Research Co., LLC from October 2017 to August 2019. Additionally, Amy worked as Improvement Director with the University Research Company/Center for Human Services from 2010 to September 2017, where responsibilities included leading USAID projects to strengthen health systems in low-income countries. Earlier roles include Senior Director of National Priorities Outreach Efforts at the National Quality Forum from 2008 to 2010 and Associate Director of Quality Alliances at the American College of Cardiology from 2002 to 2008, focusing on national quality improvement initiatives. Amy holds a Master of Science in Health Care Policy from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McDaniel College.
