Rodney Jacobs

Rodney Jacobs is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in quality engineering, product design, and management across various industries. Currently serving as a Pro Grade, Plant Quality Engineer at ATW since July 2022, Rodney previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Flexsteel Industries Inc. and was the Plant Manager at Ideal Pellets, LLC, where wooden pellets were produced to significantly reduce coal usage. Prior to these roles, Rodney spent over 15 years at Cooper Lighting Solutions in multiple engineering capacities, including New Product and Sustaining Engineering Manager and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, driving cost-saving redesign projects and providing technical support across functions. Additionally, experience includes designing key components for Blue Bird Corporation and creating lighting products at Lithonia Lighting. Rodney holds an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from South Georgia Technical College.
