Rula Hijazeen Karam

Rula Hijazeen Karam is a certified translator specializing in Arabic to English translation, with extensive experience in various roles in the field. Currently serving as a Certified Translator at the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario since July 2017 and the American Translators Association since March 2009, Rula has also contributed as a Research Assistant at McMaster University from September 2021 to May 2023. Rula founded Bulbul Academy Inc. and Alpha-Z Language Solutions, the latter being an Arabic language center in the DC metro area, reflecting a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Rula holds a Master of Science in Global Health from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies/International Relations from Azusa Pacific University, complemented by a high school diploma from CMS - Ahliyyah School for Girls in Amman, Jordan.
