Shane Ehster

Shane Ehster is a seasoned Consultant System Operations Engineer at American Transmission Company since June 2005, specializing in the assessment of the transmission system's status to ensure reliable operations through detailed steady state and dynamics analysis. Throughout a dynamic career, Shane has also served as a Consultant Transmission Planning Engineer, leading interconnection studies and special protection system studies, and has actively contributed to generation retirement studies in collaboration with MISO staff. Shane's expertise extends to developing compliance documents, presenting findings to stakeholders, and constructing models for various organizational studies. Prior experience includes roles as a Substation Services Engineer and System Planning Co-Op, with a foundational education in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
