Nidia Garza, PhD has extensive experience in talent management, leadership development, and organizational development. Nidia is currently the Vice President of Talent Management at OneAmerica, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Anthem, Inc. for three years, where they were responsible for various aspects of talent management, leadership development, and employee experience. Nidia also served as the Vice President of Learning and Development at InnovaCare Health, overseeing a team and leading initiatives in talent management and organizational development. Nidia has also held positions at Methodist Health System and CHRISTUS Health, where they were involved in organizational development, learning and development, and talent management. Nidia started their career as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad Tecmilenio and worked as an Instructional Designer at ITESM.
Nidia Garza, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature, Philosophy, and History from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León from 2000 to 2005. Nidia then pursued their Master's degree in Information and Knowledge Management at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2006 to 2009. Following that, Nidia Garza completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organizational Leadership at Atlantic International University from 2010 to 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Nidia Garza also possesses several certifications. Nidia obtained an EQi 2.0 & EQ360 certification from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) in August 2022. In May 2021, they received a Hogan Assessments Certification from Hogan Assessment Systems. Nidia Garza also acquired a certification in The New Health Economy from InnovaCare Health in January 2021. Furthermore, they completed a Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making certification from LinkedIn in May 2018. Nidia Garza has a certification in being an ICF Certified Coach from Coach U, Inc. as of December 2013. Nidia became a Fierce Conversations Certified Facilitator in March 2013 and also completed a Fierce Conversations certification in January 2013. In December 2012, Nidia Garza obtained certifications in DiSC Workplace and Work of Leaders from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand, as well as Leading in Crisis from LinkedIn. Moreover, in June 2012, they received a certification in Labor Relations from ICEI Capacitación Empresarial, A.C. Nidia Garza holds a Lominger CHOICES – Multi-Rater Certification from Korn Ferry, obtained in March 2012, as well as a Strategic Effectiveness certification from the same institution, achieved in March 2012. Nidia earned a Leadership Architect Certification from Korn Ferry in February 2011 and an ADIZES Change Management Methodology certification from the Adizes Institute in June 2010.
