Laura Godsoe

Laura Godsoe, PhD, currently serves as the Assistant Vice-President Recruitment and Talent Management at Dalhousie University, with additional roles including Director of Executive Recruitment and Employment Equity and Executive Recruiter. Prior to this position, Laura held various leadership and management roles at KBRS - Knightsbridge Robertson Surrette, focusing on diversity and inclusion. Laura also worked as an Acquisitions Editor and Acting Managing Editor at Canadian Scholars' Press/Women's Press and taught as an instructor at Ryerson University. In addition, Laura has been involved in academia at York University, serving as an adjunct professor, equity officer, and research associate, and has experience as a research assistant at the University of Western Ontario. Laura's educational background includes a PhD and MA in History from York University and a BA Honours in History from Mount Allison University.
